What to wear
This is a question I get asked all the time. "What do I bring with me?" "My mom likes this but I like this." "My son refuses to wear shoes!" No, really... I have heard them all.
My answer is pretty basic "how do you want to remember them?" I will tell you that more times than not, a year or 2 down the road, you will not care that Tommy was wearing flip flops or that Lilly refused to wear the pink floral dress that you bought at Macy's specifically for that day.
The memories that you will have are far more special and unique to your family. That may have been the first year that the baby of the family didn't include their favorite stuffed animal in the family portrait, or your oldest finally finished their up-teenth session of braces. THOSE are the memories that are captured in family sessions. THOSE are the memories that you will never get back.
